When you use EAD it does not matter if the company got any money under the TARP program or not.
You should not even bring this to the attention to your HR. Go and use EAD as if the company is just any other company, make sure that the job is "same / similar" and get a lawyer for using AC21 portability.

Does the published cumulative demand data represent
a) all pending 485 cases that include primary applicants and their dependents
OR
b) all pending 485 cases that include primary applicants only?
If say, the demand data for EB3, till 2004 says 35,000 - does this mean there are a total of 35,000 pending cases in total OR does this represent primary applicants only?
If it represents primary applicants only, what is the multiplication factor we need to use to get an approximate number for total pending 485 cases?

If you have a valid I-94 i.e. not expired, you can apply for another I-539 to F1 - make sure to make the application stronger than last time.
If your I-94 is applied, you have no choice but to leave the country and get F1 visa in your home country and come back.

Today's news that Indiana Democratic Senator Evan Bayh will be retiring is probably bad news for much of the Democrat's legislative agenda. But when it comes to immigration, this is probably a good news day. Bayh's last vote on comprehensive immigration reform was a bad one. He voted with anti-immigration Senators to filibuster the 2007 version of comprehensive immigration reform and there is little reason to believe his vote in 2010 would be different. my I-485 is pending; PD is oct 05.
my Labor Cert shows that we use job description of programmer/analyst. ETA Case shows title as "Software Engineer"
I have a job offer in Information Technology, will there be any problems if I use AC21 with the new company?
I have not yet accepted the offer.

HI All,
I currently work for a desi consulting company and applied for H1B Extension.I applied H1B Extension with Current Client Letter and also a copy of PO.But my contract may end in a month or so.I am near to finalising a new contract oppurtunity which if seleted needed to join immediately.Now if i change the job does it effect my pending H1B extension.
I am not changing my consulting company who holds visa i am only changing client.As i already submitted client letter and PO i am kind of nervous if i get RFE regarding the current client, which i may not be able to answer it.Waiting for your valuable feedback.

I am in a strange situation-- I have 2 different PDs.
1) PDs on my I-140 is listed: June 30, 2005 (which became current as of 2/11/2011)
2) I recently discovered a different PD listed on the Request for Initial Interview Notice (for my pending I-485). There is a Priority Date box on this notice letter, and date listed is Aug 16, 2007.
Biometrics done Nov2007
Initial Interview done June 2010
FingerPrint done August 2010
Currently on 3rd EAD
Nationality is Taiwan
Current status: AOS pending
