I just missed 120-90 day window for filing EAD. My EAD expires on oct 12 and today is July 12TH.
Other stats:
Have H1B active with current employer till Feb 2009
Just got my priority date current - EB2 July 2004 for India
I-140 approved, I-485 and I-140 filed last year receipt date Sept 2007
Questions:
How can I get new EAd now?
I can continune working on H1B correct?
Any impact on my 485 application that now will process due to PD being current?
PLEASE HELP. I am confused and worried a bit.

If you are considering working for Sharper Impressions painting... don't. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. They prey on those who don't have the money or the resources to fight them. While travelling on Advance Parole, which job title should I mention to the immigration officer. The Job Titile is different on H1-B and Permanent Residency application. Thanks.

Congratulations to Swedish-born Paul N.J. Ottosson who won two Academy Awards this evening for Best Sound Editing and Best Sound Mixing for The Hurt Locker. Ottosson came on a tourist visa in the 80s with some friends to try and make it as a rock musician. His friends went home, but he stayedand went on to become one of the top people in one of the most important jobs in filmmaking. Ottosson briefly mentioned his immigrant experience in his acceptance speech.

Yesturday night, I saw Charlie Rose Show, in which he first interviewed Andi Carr and then RAHM EMANUEL Representative (D-IL)....
In the middle of conversation, Charlie asked Rahm about what Dems agree and disagree and how they will work with President. He replied that there is no all disagreement. He said Dems agree on Tax reform as well as Immigration. Then he went on to talk about favoritism to CIR.
It seems like winning the election even while being on Immigration side as well defeat of Representatives J.D. Hayworth and Randy Graf (Hardcore Immigrant Haters) have embolden Dems that Immigration is not as taboo as it was once thought. I have a feeling that they will get this done sooner than later. :)

An I-140 petition filed for you by your current employer will have no impact on the pending I-140 appeal filed by your future employer.

My I-140 approved in Aug 2007,My employer has withdrawn the I-140 in july but still it is approved in Aug 2007,Now my employer is agreed and want to sent the letter to USCIS not to withdrawn this I-140,As I am in Canada so they are planning to file the I-824 for me for Consular processing,so please advice do they need to file the new I-140 for me for Consular processing as they sent the withdrawn letter to uscis or is it ok for them to sent the letter again to uscis and telling them not to withdrawn this case and file I-824 for CP.Please advice!!!!!!

Could you please help with a question? My family has I140 approved and 485 pending. But we are leaving the US. What is the best way to deal with I485?
1. If we withdraw I485, can I apply for B1 visa later to come back for business? Or because we have applied for immigration visa, our B1 application will be denied?
2. If we change I485 to Consular Process, probably we can not apply for B1, right?

Processing of 140 applications in NSC now takes 9 to 12 months . The movement of dates only will make things worse for processing of all the applications.
Hope it does not take more than a year for AP and EAD ...

Hi All,
I am purchasing tickets to INDIA in an hour. Haven't thought about this much until one of my friends asked me this. My priority date is March 2005. I am planning to travel to INDIA using AP in December last week and come back in first week of Feb 2010. IF my GC gets approved during my stay in INDIA, would it a problem while coming back or if an RFE is issued, would it be a problem.

Great news! The Hatch widows bill (which removes the requirement that a couple must have been married for two years before a US citizen dies) passed and included in that bill were provisions extending the religious worker green card program and the Conrad 30 J-1 physician waiver program. Each of these programs were extended for three years. The EB-5 regional center program for immigrant investors was permanently reauthorized by the Senate yesterday. The House must agree to these amendments before they go to the President and I do not yet know whether the bill will go back to the House...

My PERM was approved in 3 days filed on June 15, 07 approved on June 18. .
I was lucky to be able to apply I-140, I-485 together during the July madness.
Last Month I received an RFE on the I-140 for degrees and reference letters after sending I-140 approved in 2 weeks. Now I have received an RFE on my I-485
They have asked for work authorization for the volunteering and internship I did while on F1. My atty by mistake put these on the G325A form. The internship was a cpt recorded on the I-20 so no worries there. Volunteering was where the problem is. It was working at a physicians office (my dad's office) helping in computer stuff.
What do the Gurus recommend I do. I am worried that at this stage What can we do.

Wonder what these people will say, if the native indians proposed laws that said, anybody who is not Indian (:D) need to leave the country; no Caucasians are welcome in this land!!!!!!!!
